Download Expander to open ZIP, SIT, SITX files

How can I get a copy of Expander? Which one do I need?

Overview

You may get files from websites or friends that are in the ZIP, SIT, or SITX formats (filename.zip, filename.sit, filename.sitx). Most of the time you will need Stuffit to open these files. Below is a list of Expander (our free version of Expander) which will open these types of files for you. Please keep in mind that the software opens the file so that you can use whatever is inside of it (pictures, files, documents, etc.).

Which one do I need?

Windows

-Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and Windows 7 CLICK HERE for Stuffit Expander 2010

PLEASE NOTE: That this version requires that Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 be installed.  CLICK HERE to get it.

We do not have Expander for Windows 3.1, NT, 95, 98, or ME

What if I need to make my own compressed files? What do I need to do this?

Our latest versions of our software, Stuffit Standard and Deluxe, can be found at http://www.stuffit.com. If you have an older version of this software and would like to upgrade to it (Expander doesn't count to upgrade to Standard or Deluxe), then please CLICK HERE for more details!
